  • 3. Can you provide a quote before starting work?

Absolutely. We offer free, no‑obligation estimate for simple jobs or on-site for larger projects which may come with a cost. Our quotes include transparent breakdowns of labour and materials.

  • 4. Are permits or inspections required for your work?

Yes. Any installations, alterations, or rewiring typically require a building permit and safety inspection according to Victorian regulations. We coordinate all compliance and certification for you.

  • 5. How long do I have to get electrical work inspected?

Under Victoria’s Electrical Safety regulations, any prescribed electrical installation work must be inspected by a licensed electrical inspector (LEI) within 8 business days after completion—and before reconnection to the supply.

  • 6. What's included in a Switchboard upgrade?

We assess your panel capacity, upgrade circuits or meter boards if needed, test safety devices (RCDs/MCBs), and ensure full compliance with current standards. All work is followed by post-installation certification.

  • 7. Do you install EV charging units?

Yes. We handle the full installation process—site assessment, panel upgrade if needed, installation of compliant charging stations, testing, and certification.

  • 8. Why is my light flickering or switch hot?

Flickering lights may indicate loose bulbs, incompatible dimmer-switch combos, or overloaded circuits. A hot switch often signals faulty wiring—a potential fire hazard. In either case, please get in touch promptly.

  • 9. How do I know if an outlet is burning?

Watch for visual signs such as dark marks, scorch stains, a burning or smoky smell, or sparking. These symptoms can indicate dangerous overheating—contact us immediately.

  • 10. Do you service builders and developers?

Definitely. We partner with builders, developers, and contractors to handle fit‑outs, new builds, and large‑scale electrical projects—delivering reliable quality at every stage.
